I'm so confused, but on a side note, you kind of look like Matthew Perry in this pic. Are you leading us up to the reason why you got pregnant (to make this world a better place, etc.) or what your lives were like when you were trying to get pregnant with Trixie? Nevertheless, this is a great pic. Posted by: Valerie at September 5, 2006 12:20 AM

Sheesh - give a teacher a day off and she loses all sense of time. B&W on a TUESDAY! Even crazier. Posted by: jj at September 5, 2006 06:46 AM

Wow, the range of 'color' in this picture is amazing -- there are so many distinct tones of grey visible, so sharp and silvery. It's like some dystopian Ansel Adams. Posted by: Nicole R. at September 5, 2006 08:46 AM

I'm no expert, but I don't think that's a "Princess Dress." It's more of a "Car." Posted by: Jamie at September 5, 2006 10:58 AM

This picture looks decididly more like a burned out car in the Bronx than a princess dress. ;o) Posted by: Carrie Jo at September 5, 2006 11:01 AM

You know, Colum went through a boxy, rusted-out, missing-wheels phase a while back. He just sat in a junkyard, rusting, the torn vinyl from his front seat flapping in the wind. I'm glad Ben posted this, because it lets me know I'm not alone, that other parents have to watch thier kids go through this awkward stage as well. Darla, why in the world would you think that by the way things have been going lately??? Maybe you are right, but if I another miracle on the way, I wouldn't lead up to it like this. But.....maybe you something we don't know.....??? And, in the crazy world we live in, nothing would really surprise me.................... and I mean NOTHING!! Thanks for laugh, John :D I think that Ben's mixing things up has been really interesting. I was living up in Stamford and spending a lot of time in the city during the same time period so I'm having fun reminiscing. Posted by: michelle at September 5, 2006 03:11 PM

OK, my two cents: Trixie is staying with Grandmother while Ben and Jenn are vacationing in NYC, revisiting old "stomping grounds" and none of us are missing little Trixie more than they. ???? I do hope wherever they all are, they are having a most wonderful time and may or may not share it with all us crazies....well, not all of us, but, well, some of you are getting alittle bit scary. Hope all is well. I think you are pretty brave to share your daughter's life with us....and, in that regard, do you really think he would tell everyone WHERE they are and WHERE Trixie is???? Get real. Be grateful for the glimpse. OK, that was more like three cents. Posted by: LizB. at September 5, 2006 03:44 PM

Hey, all of you.... get a life and leave Ben alone!!! Staying at home with your child is commendable and it has been the most challenging and admirable thing Ben will ever have done. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.... Posted by: mommamia at September 5, 2006 04:18 PM

Maybe Trixie is choosing the photos, and she likes seeing her parents' pre-Trixie experiences. Posted by: Marie at September 5, 2006 04:19 PM

I've noticed the pictures posting an hour later than they used to. He used to put them up at 11 PM Central, and now they're going up at 12 AM Central. So, maybe they are in my time zone! LOL Posted by: Erica at September 5, 2006 04:55 PM

Looks like the car and the guy from the Movie "Christine". Kinda 1950'ish. I don't blame Ben for posting other pictures. Like all good T.V. shows that we have been following fanatically for years, this too must come to an end. I thank the MacNeal family for giving us a peak into your lives. You are a very beautiful Family and your Love for Trixie is clearly obvious. Posted by: at September 5, 2006 05:17 PM

I haven't been able to sleep in days because I've been wondering what this picture is all about. I have showed it to at least a dozen different people and they are as clueless as I. A group of us are thinking about hiring a private investigator to find this car. If anyone wants to go in on the cost of the investigative services, leave a message here and we'll get the ball rolling! And one major point I would like to express is that if you question my enthusiasm over this topic, then that's your problem! I have an two Associates Degrees from Durham Tech and therefore no one is in a position to question me. Posted by: at September 5, 2006 07:51 PM

To the poster two posts above me- I hope you're just kidding. Anyway, I like the shadows in this photo, but the burned out car & the barbed wire creeps me out. Also, you totally do look like Matthew Perry. Posted by: Colleen at September 5, 2006 08:40 PM

I just think they went on vacation!! For those of you who are using Trixie Tracker to track your own child/ren Ben has checked in to post on the support forums there... So at least we know Ben is alive and well!! I think he's just messing with everyone to see how hysterical everyone gets!! Posted by: momofthing123 at September 5, 2006 09:16 PM
