Sandboxes are the BEST! Both of my boys will spend FOREVER in our backyard sandbox - and their favorite toys are tne non-sandboxy ones, like lids to detergent, plastic tupperware dishes, and wooden spoons! Posted by: Judy at April 14, 2006 11:33 AM

When I built a swing set with a sandbox for my grandchildren, I also worried about cats using it, so I enclosed it with plastic fencing and a door with a spring to keep it closed. Posted by: Papa at April 17, 2006 03:43 PM
