Quite impressive - she's holding her crayon properly and has that modern art style down pat.

Is any of her artwork gracing your refrigerator yet?

I love the fact that she keeps her coloring supplies in the grocery cart - too cute!

Did no one notice!? Trixie is matching!!! Yay Trixie!

Not that I didn't love the wild pants...

I'm more excited about the barrette keeping her hair back. I babysat my nieces this past weekend, and they are letting their bangs grow out. I did everything I could to keep their hair in ponytails, so I could see their filing smaces. Nice work, Ben, couldn't imagine my husband putting barrettes in.

Does she stay on the paper? And she doesn't eat the crayons? That's amazing. Trixie is so advanced.

That's a negative on both. In addition to drawing on the table, couch and my paperwork, she just discovered yesterday that if she pushes real hard she can leave faint waxy lines all over the glass door.

With her ever-growing fan base, I bet Trixie could put her artwork up on e-bay and pay for her college education in one fell swoop!

I SEE BRUISES ON HER ARMS. Are you beating her?

Yes, yes, I am beating her. Or it might be her faded temporary tattoos. It's hard to remember because I've already been drinking too much this morning.

Ben, when you sober up, would you mind giving us an update on how the tattoos are holding up as a reinforcement tool? Is she still excited about them? Have you had to find a new reward?

ben, finally used a tattoo on eliot and he was so excited! thanks for the tip! and what is up with trixie's hair? did you ever have any success with the hair cut?

Ann: The tattoos aren't working so well anymore because she's completely lost interest in potty training. We've given up on it for the time being.

haeshu: We're using those rubber band things to pull her hair back. (Not real rubber bands. Those fuzzy stretchy hair things. I don't know what the hell they are called.)

When my sister was being potty trained, we filled plastic easter eggs with a few M & M's and stickers, etc. "Poopy eggs" and a more in them than "Peepee eggs". This actually worked very well.

We call them "hair thingeys".

For God's sake, Ben, they're called "scrunchies." If they're not fuzzy, they're ponytail holders. That's my PSA for the month.

"Hair tie" is also a commonly used term, although I also grew up calling them ponytail holders. Geez, Ben, get with the program. :)

Wow: Poopy eggs and Peepee eggs. I wish someone would give me candy every time I got down to business.

Ben, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for bringing us the Trixie Update. This place never fails to inspire.

Ha! I think the weekend is going to be slow, but I decide to check on the Trixster anyway...Y'all are a riot! Bruises, drinking, poopy and peepee eggs. And I vote for scrunchies as the correct term.

They are "hair thingies" in our household, too! They're too small to be "scrunchies" and too fuzzy to be "ponytail holders."

I think we may need a new poll.

They're hair thingies at our house too!

Scrunchies get my vote too.

I lurk often but I don't post much. I admit to not even lurking since you stoped the diaper count. :( I miss it.

I love her drawings, and I had to LOL at the drawing on glass.

hairbows, scrunchies, hairbands, hair thingies, etc. (altho we cant use them because my three month old daughter is very bald)
