I hope the paparazzi don't recognize me ... some days a girl just wants to swing at the park without it ending up in the tabloids. Maybe I need to get some sunglasses and ditch signature coat. Posted by: Dana at January 28, 2005 12:28 AM

Trixie is suffering from "wookie-itis," and rare and painfully humiliating condition where she has begun to grow fur all over her body except for the face and hands. Posted by: Michael at January 28, 2005 01:57 PM

At a certain point, all the fame and bright lights caught up to Trixie. She found herself turning to thumbsucking with increasing frequency -- first, just to help her fall asleep. Then, for a little reassurance in the morning. But how far was too far? Tune in for this week's "Behind the Website -- Trixie." Posted by: Ariel at January 28, 2005 03:00 PM

I'm 99% sure that Trixie's coat is not real fur. It doesn't even look like real fur, despite the fact that it's a children's jacket from H&M. Not many people would dare to dress their toddler in anything with real fur on it. Posted by: Alice at January 28, 2005 09:04 PM

Moxie, I'm glad you liked it!! Thanks!! :-) Alice is right. Lois, what you read about the Cocker spaniel fur was a JOKE CAPTION that I wrote. I've never even heard of such a thing as Cocker Spaniel trim. I have a Cocker Spaniel, which is what made me even make that joke - the fake fur on Trixie's coat looked like my dog's fur. He sheds enough that someone could use his fur sheddings as coat trim, but who would really want that??? :) Sorry Ben - all you need right now is a Cocker Spaniel coat controversy. :) For the record, I am just someone who reads this site & I have nothing to do with this site. Anybody ever see the movie Stripes? My favorite line from that movie is "Lighten up, Francis!" Posted by: Mary at January 28, 2005 09:40 PM

no caption (not overly witty) however, I LOVE the jacket! I used to have a faux white fur jacket when I was little! Kept me warm in our cold Canadian climate! If I could find a similar jacket to yours I would buy it in an instant!!!! Mary: I have never heard of a jacket with cocker spaniel fur either! Loved the caption though...made me laugh, along with all the other captions! Posted by: Tanya at January 28, 2005 09:53 PM

Tanya, Thank you! I used to have a pink faux fur coat when I was little. I loved it! But, I didn't love it on Halloween night when my mom made me wear it so that I wouldn't freeze (I wanted to show off my costume rather than be warm). Aidens momma, Loves it!!!

Aidens momma, "get OUT!" (said in the way that Elaine from Seinfeld used to say it). I used to live in the Albany area too! I moved right around the time that those coats were just beginning to get popular up there. I think people were a little hesitant to wear them at first because they were so funky, but later people couldn't resist the urge to get funkdafied. I didn't see them as much when I moved to N. Carolina. I wasn't sure if it was because it might be less funky here or because it doesn't stay cold long enough here to get real trendy with coats. Trixie knows how to get funky though - yay Trixie!!! :-) I just had a vision of Trixie doing a funky little dance while wearing her coat - that would be so cute!!! Boxer fur... I'm seeing Boxer fur on purses and handbags. Oh!!! They could be called Boxer Bags!!!! EVERYBODY will want a Boxer Bag!! :-) Posted by: Mary at January 29, 2005 11:29 AM

That is so weird, The other day I was thinking about if I were to start a band I must call it Trixie, or Atomic Trixie hmm. She is getting tooo famous! This would be a great photo for a album cover! And I was cracking up reading Mary's aiden's momma and all of you gals comments, you remind me of my friends from highschool, too funny! There is this show on Bravo right now called "Project Runway" where fashion designers have to compete to come up with clothing designs. That reminded me to come here. After reading all this, our Trixie Fashion Team would win!!! None of the designers on this TV show have mentioned anything as creative as poodle ponchos, dachshund dresses, and beagle bangles!!! You all are awesome!!! Tanya, Thank You!!! :-) This is fun!! Aidens momma, I went to the same university! Since I live down south, I never meet people that went to SUNY Albany, so this is a cool coincidence! I graduated in 97. I studied psychology, which is probably why I was so interested in this site from the first time I saw it. This is like an EXCELLENT course in child psychology or early childhood development.
