High in low 60's here in the lovely Pacific Northwest. (btw, Maddie is asleep right now in an exact replica of those pink pjs, although she is missing the fuzzy hat with her ensemble.)

Cold? Brrrr. Frigid? Yes! It was 2 degrees last night at 11pm. (The hour I get off work.) Tonight it was clear up to 28. Tomorrow, it may actually get up to 32--a veritable heat wave! We got 12" of snow this past Saturday, which made 26 1/2" so far this month, 37" so far this winter. The west end of Lake Erie doesn't usually get this much of the white stuff due to the "lake effect." This is the second snowiest January in recorded weather history in this area. Enough already!

Trixie looks pretty in pink.

Very cold here. Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning each were -20. We actually may see 20 degrees today so, there's hope yet! But, this is what we expect in upstate NY. I need to move.

Hi! I found your site a little bit ago. What a great way for those of us without kids to see what really goes on in your life!
About the weather: Here in MA it is cold (it's been between 2-18 degrees) and very snowy. We just got 2 1/2 feet of snow on Sunday and are expecting another 6 inches of snow on Wednesday.

Up here in Maryland it has been in the teens and 20s, which is cold for here. We are supposed to hit 40 today though! Yeah!

Here in Missouri, the temps always swing. On Saturday, the high was 30, and the low was 15, and today the high will be 58. Crazy.

Trixie looks as cute as ever, those little blue eyes sticking out from under the hat.

Is it bad if I'm glad you aren't in the park with just a sweater on, that your weather has gotten cold too?

No, this morning is a particularly beautiful California morning. The orange tree's are in bloom, and it fills the house with perfume.
So far today we've had no floods, fires or earthquakes.
maybe a little rain later in the afternoon.

I cannot relate to most of these temps. The weather in So. CA has been pretty mild since our fierce storm rain two weeks ago. Today's forecast: High 67, Low 52. Rain is expected again tonight & tomorrow, but nothing like what we just experienced. Temps should drop slightly by Saturday. Hope everyone stays warm & safe out there!

P.S. BIDS *must* be powerful to live & breathe in such cold weather! I thought viruses died off after the temps drop past a certain level - must be wishful thinking.

Indiana, craziest place to live, Ice storm two weeks ago with out power for 7 days. Then it melts and we get 7 inches of snow this past weekend. We got a nice day in the 60's when the ice storm hit about 8 days later and then back down to 15 - 30 that is it. I hate indiana weather i have to find some place new.

As for the weather, Yesterday and sunday our entire state was closed. Yes the mayor asked us all to stay home because of the blizzard.

Im in RI by the way, we didn't get as much snow as MA or northern New England I think we got a little under 2 feet but it is FREEZING!!! The wind is making it very painful to be out for more than a minute. Stay warm everyone!

Hey, lia--although I live in the Pacific Northwest, I'm from Denton, Texas. In fact, Maddie's Grandpa still lives there!

Went walking with sweatshirt and nylon jacket. In a couple mile, I was down to t-shirt and carrying the luggage. Nice walking though with no ice on the bike trail. Cooler down to 41 Friday they say zip 68500

I am from the Toronto area (canada) and it is a cold one! We have been in the -20's to -40's. I must say living here all my life - I have not gotten used to it yet! I need to move where it is warmer.

Some snow in the town I live in...(north of Toronto) but not as mush as everyone around us. We are in a "cold snap" as the weather ppl say. Windchill makes it crazy out there!!!

You guys keep warm! Spring is around the corner :)

Tanya: Is it -20's to -40's in degrees Farenheit, or Celcius? I'm just trying to get perspective. Either way, that's pretty cold. I hope you are keeping warm!

Hey Becky,
the temp is celcius! if it were Farenheit that would be too cold for me! Then again even Celcius is too cold for me! :)
