Just grow your hair out a little more, and you'll be pretty hard to spot.

I'm anxiously waiting for my picture- each morning I wake up and run to the computer in hopes of seeing trixie in her dress- and no luck!
You love teasing me don't you???

Lovin' this picture (yesterday's too)! I've always thought you have a good photographic eye, Ben, but you never cease to impress - the TPOD's just keep getting better & better.

Ben, do you think Trixie knows what YOU look like? I mean, that you have an actual face and you don't really look like the front end of a camera.

Lori, that's a funny comment.
I am shooting similar photos these days, i.e. running after my son and trying to catch a shot of him, because he simply won't sit (or stand) still anymore. With the delay in the digital camera it is even harder to get him on camera, even though I run after him all prepared. What is your secret? Crackers are the only means to making him stand still, but I try to reserve those for the opportunity to clip his finger nails...

I think this is one of my favorites so far, Ben. And I grew quite attached to the April 20, 2004 "Water Optional" picture of Trixie climbing over the side of the bathtub. Is Trixie just your muse, Ben, or do you take beautiful pictures of other things as well?

Hi Ben--you might have noticed already, or you're in the middle of upgrading, or something, but going to the index page gets me this: "Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/trixie3/public_html/index.php on line 1803". Sorry about putting this in the wrong place, but with the index page gone I couldn't look up the best way to contact you.

Regardless, many thanks to you and your family for sharing your beautiful stories and photos with internetland.

lori: I think she knows me, but then there are those times I catch her hugging the camera tripod.

tj: Well, I agree with you. It's hard to photograph a toddler. I think the main thing that works for me is that I don't carry the camera everywhere. It takes some pressure off if you aren't always trying to catch the perfect shot. Instead I decide specific times or outings that I'm going to shoot and then I try to grab a bunch at once. At those times, I will follow Trixie around with the camera ready to go. I also try to set the focus ahead of time and see if I can get her to walk into the shot. I hope this helps.

Ann: Thanks you. I actually like shooting urban landscapes a lot more than babies. I have a couple thousand shots of the Bronx that I've been meaning to get up.
