Now that Trixie can reach the top of our desks and tables, she spends a lot of time slowly navigating the edges, blindly pawing around, trying to see what she can knock on the floor.

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures! I viewed them all and all the comments. It is my 59th birthday and my 4 children are all grown. I simply loved this whole technique and know Trixie will love to see it all when she is bigger! What a wonderful way to save the history of your child. Thanks again for the birthday present! Hi Isadora -- It's always nice to meet new friends!

If anyone doesn't speak Portuguese, you can try Babel Fish Translation: http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Its translations are always interesting if not exactly accurate, especially when the text concerns babies. This is because unlike English, many other languages use gendered nouns. So when you have a "he", "she" or "the" that refers to a baby, the word usually gets translated back into English as "it", and you get funny sentences such as this description of Trixie's recent TPOD exploits found on http://barlavento.pixelzine.com.br that Babelfish 'creatively' translated as:

"It adores to take bath, is a party each time that enters in the bathtub...
It likes to make pranks, already it was photographed tearing a dictionary and trying to enter in the alone bathtub!"

I love this picture!!! She is adorable.

P.S. Freetranslation.com is also another good site. I use that when our Brazilian customer e-mails me and there are words in the e-mail that I don't already know. It isn't as entertaining as Babel Fish, but I usually get a pretty accurate translation. It won't translate slang or idioms.

I've been lurking in the background for a few days now, since I found the link to TTU from Kim Komando. This is a great site! I must admit that I spent *all* afternoon yesterday and today catching up on the Trixie adventures. I just couldn't hold back any longer. Love all the TPOD's. But what finally got me to leave a comment? The "creative" translation from Babelfish! What exactly is the "alone" bathtub???? OMG! Now I want to translate everything!

P.S. Can you tell that I also like exclamations!!

You can use straight-up html in your comment if you like.

Here's how to make links:
typing <a href="http://www.trixieupdate.com">Trixie Update</a> gives you: Trixie Update

In other words:
<a href="website_address_goes_here">Link Description Goes Here</a>

Multiple Links: If you include more than 2 links in your comment, it will have to approved by me before it shows up on the site.
