Hmm . . . I want to vote "another couple of weeks" b/c I think it's true in part. She has shown the ability to nap for longer than 38 minutes = progress. But . . . and I don't want to burst your bubble, I'm also tempted to vote "don't hold your breath" b/c even after she starts napping regularly, which I think she will, she will go through many, many permutations of non-ideal sleep distribution patterns, each as mysterious and infuriating as the last. Just when you let your guard down, she'll pull a "gotcha" (smiling all the while), and she will, indeed, have gotten you, again. Sorry to tell you this, but I think you at least deserve the truth. Don't shoot the messenger.

My 4 year old never napped during the day excpet when she was very new. At first I was pissed, thinking is this child ever going to give me a break? I have now learned to take her "no nap" policy as a blessing in disguise. If I can hang in there all day with no naps, she is so tired that she is in bed by 7:30 every night and sleeps until I wake her up the next morning...HEAVEN! While I realize that Callie (my girl) is alot older than Trixie, it has been this way since she was about 10 months old. Gotta take the good with bad, right?
