It's your baby's first loss of innocence, the first gross adult thing they do. A rite of passage if you will. But rest assured that you will become desensitized to it, at least to some extent, like anything horrible that people are repeatedly exposed to - it's your built-in defense mechanism to be able to handle the stress of life on earth.
