Trixie is such a little primate. Like all infants, she exhibits the instinctual reflex to grasp things. I wasn’t really sure what this was good for until I carried her in the Baby Bjorn — without wearing a shirt. It’s not like I have a ton of chest hair, but her hands are so strong and her fingers are so tiny and dexterous she can actually grab a tight fistful and hang on. She’s so monkey-like. If only I had more hair or she still had a tail, we wouldn’t even need that Bjorn at all.

Poor you, just wait til she wants to bounce while she is sitting on your lap and puts her feet in a bad place to jump. My little sisters have definitely done that to my dad before.
